Bus passengers in Stockton and Billingham will have the chance to air their views on local services at a pair of public meetings next week organised by Stockton North Labour MP, Alex Cunningham.
Alex was keen to take up an offer from the Regional Chief Executive Officer for Stagecoach, Steve Walker, to hold a couple of public forums for people to speak directly to him and discuss future services and how they can be improved.
They will be held on Wednesday 15th February 2017 at 6pm in Jim Cooke Conference Room Stockton Library and Thursday 16th February 2017 at 6pm in Billingham Community Centre on the Causeway Billingham.
“People often contact my office with complaints but more often than not about the lack of bus services in their area and I was pleased to hear Steve Walker say he personally wanted to meet local people, tell them about Stagecoach’s plans for the future and address their concerns.
“I hope local people will respond to the invitation to attend one of the meetings next week and help him better understand both their frustrations and hopes for bus services in the future.
