Stockton North MP, Alex Cunningham, is teaming up with Barclays to promote awareness of cyber-crime.
As part of a regular series of events, Barclays will be delivering a Cyber Fraud Awareness seminar at the Stockton Business Centre on Friday 3 November. Led by Andrew Dixon of Barclays’ Business Digital Eagle team, this seminar will include a presentation detailing the most common and latest cyber threats to UK businesses, and offering the best tips to defend against them.
Alex said:
I’m delighted to be hosting this event with Barclays. Cyber-crime is a very real danger to both businesses and individuals, and I’m pleased to see Barclays take a lead in combatting this threat. We all want businesses in Stockton to succeed, and seminars such as these are a great way to ensure they are equipped to defend themselves from cyber-crime, and continue to thrive.
Alex will be welcoming businesses at the seminar. The event takes place on Friday 3 November, at Stockton Business Centre, 70 Brunswick Street, Stockton on Tees, TS18 1DW, from 11.30 to 2pm. A light lunch will be served from 11.30.
