Stockton North MP, Alex Cunningham, is asking community groups and local charities in his constituency to think about what they could do with £20,000.
Grants between £500 and £20,000 – raised by players of the People’s Postcode Lottery – are now available for local community organisations to apply for. They are being asked to submit expressions of interest between 14 and 28 February, providing details of their organisation, and short a description of the project they are hoping to have funded.
This is an opportunity not to be missed. I know that there are many charities doing fantastic work across Stockton North, and that funding worth up to £20,000 would be welcomed. I would encourage as many local groups and charities to apply as possible.
Funding is made available through three strands –
- tackling poverty and promoting human and equal rights – www.postcodetrust.org.uk
- supporting community and environmental projects – www.postcodelocaltrust.org.uk
- supporting grass-roots sport, arts, and healthy lifestyles – www.postcodecommunitytrust.org.uk
