Alex supports the Mariposa Trust’s ‘Saying Goodbye’ service

Stockton North MP, Alex Cunningham, is supporting – and spreading awareness of – the Mariposa Trust’s ‘Saying Goodbye’ service.

The Mariposa Trust was founded in 2012 by Zoe and Andy Clark-Coates, and seeks to support people who have lost children at any stage during pregnancy, birth, or in infancy. Alongside a comprehensive package of support and friendship, the Mariposa Trust also holds ‘Saying Goodbye’ services across the world, giving people an opportunity to come together to remember the children they have lost.

Alex said

Losing a child at any stage is traumatic. That’s why the work Mariposa Trust does is hugely important for people who have suffered miscarriage and baby loss, and their “Saying Goodbye” services is just one of the ways in which they seek to support people.

The Saying Goodbye service takes place at Sunderland Minster on 22 April, at 3pm. All are invited, no matter the circumstances of the loss.
